【Industry News】Western Digital Customer Letter Confirms Product Supply Shortages and Price increases
In the most recent updates, memory giant Western Digital confirmed on April 8th that there is a supply shortage for both flash and hard drive portfolio. They have sent out formal customer letters to inform about continuous price adjustments for their products.
Western Digital states in the letter that it is seeing higher than expected demand across its entire flash and hard drive portfolio resulting in supply constraints. In addition, supply chain challenges for the overall electronics industry are further impacting supply availability.
The company further adds that it will continue to implement price increases on flash and hard drive products this quarter, with some changes taking effect immediately.
