SMC Diode Solutions opened its second power discrete fab in Nanjing, China.The new facility achieved volume production just 21 months after its groundbreaking in September 2022 and will begin shipping high-power and high-voltage rectifiers and MOSFET 6-inch and 8-inch wafers to customers in the fourth quarter of 2024.
